October Meeting Summary

We had a great night at Next Adventure with 18 members showing up and several exciting developments announced. Top on my list of exciting news is the scheduling of our next work party on November 8th at Leverich Park in Vancouver. If you haven't been following along, the course is approved, baskets are on order and Stumptown along with a couple other organizations will be pouring cement for tee signs and collars on that day. We'll provide lunch and cement, bring your muscles, shovels, wheelbarrels etc.

October Update

Summer is officially over. I know that because I heard it on the radio and read it on the internet. I can also tell because I got rained on playing disc golf last week. That also means we are getting closer to the Stumptown Winter Series events! Speaking of getting closer, we are very close now to having our first public disc golf course in Vancouver. The baskets have been ordered and all that needs to be done now is the installation. Please mark November 8th on your calendar and plan to come to Vancouver for a great day improving a local park.
